Ish Monroe had purchased a Japanese lure overseas that was damaged during use. This particular lure and color was performing well for an upcoming tournament.

This lure was also irreplaceable and only available in Japan.

Ish turned to the airbrushes of Carolina Chip's to not only duplicate the color on some similar lures, but also in a variety of depths and styles

We took the lures into the shop and cleaned, disassembled and prepared them for painting. All of the colors were matched and paint draw downs performed. Once these draw downs were a perfect match of the original lure colors, we started painting.

At right, you can see the perfect match of color in a variety of bait styles.

Hint: The original lure is second down - middle!
