Bass Catching Lure Design Marks Another Milestone In The Carolina Chip
Lure Company Arsenal. Michigan, March 26, 2007 — After two years of development, Carolina Chip's Lure Company has finished up testing of the newly introduced Carolina Fatback. An excited Chip tells us " We've worked hard on this one. We started making this lure in 2005 and caught many memorable bass. While the lure was effective on the three species (Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spot), we particularly spanked smallmouth into the boat on the big lakes."
The initial design was a silent model without rattles. Chip tells us "The first time I used it, I had taken this lure out on Lake St. Clair with FLW Pro, Scott Dobson. Not knowing how it would cast, retrieve or hold a fish had me a little nervous with a Pro on deck. Within 10 cast, I started landing spring smallies on this lure and had a blast with it." The lure has continued to evolve into its final form today. A rattling, wobbling bass catcher!
As with all CCLC lures, a variety of colors are available. This lure was out on the FLW tour in 2006 and back again for the 2007 season. Now that its become a confidence lure to many fishermen, it will become standard product offering on the CCLC website in April 2007. Keep watching for the release date to be announced.
